While the Parr family has accepted its collective calling as superheroes, the fact remains that their special heroism is still illegal. After they are arrested after unsuccessfully trying to stop the Underminer, their future seems bleak. However, the wealthy Deavor siblings of Devtech offer new hope with a bold project to rehabilitate the public image and legal status of Supers, with Elastigirl being assigned on point to be the shining example. Now having agreed for now to stay at home to care of the kids, Mr. Incredible finds domestic life a daunting challenge, especially with baby Jack-Jack's newly emerged powers making him almost impossible to manage. However, Elastigirl soon has her own concerns dealing with the menace of a new supervillain, Screenslaver, who is wreaking havoc with his mind control abilities. Now, Elastigirl must solve the mystery of this enemy, who has malevolent designs on the world with the Parr family and friends key targets of this evil. Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for the kids while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world. Its one of the sequels which was almost better than their first part .Be ready to be amazed by Jack Jack. The little guy sure is my favorite character of this movie. INCREDIBLES 2 (2018) **** (Voices of: Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Catherine Keener, Eli Fucile, Bob Odenkirk, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Bird, Sophia Bush, Brad Bird, Phil LaMarr, Isabella Rossellini, Adam Gates, Jonathan Banks, John Ratzenberger, Bill Wise, Nicholas Bird, Paul Eiding, Barry Bostwick, Michael B. Johnson, Jere Burns, Adam Rodriguez, Kimberly Adair Clark) Pixar does it again with this incredible sequel to the original with expanded nuclear family of super heroes facing the fact that society has outlawed them until a wealthy, philanthropical fan decides to reboot them as a PR gimmick with the Parr clan facing down a technological mad genius from enslaving the populace at hand. Great wit, grit, charm, harm and heart concocted by the fervid mind of Bird (yep another Bird-brained idea!) keeps the motor running (and that rad retro score by Michael Giacchino) to full tilt near exhaustive concoctions with wild-card baby Jack-Jack as the scene-stealing munchkin with unknown 'powers' of his own (note to the studio - a stand-alone chop/chop!) Laugh yourself silly and be pleasantly surprised at getting choked up about 'family matters'. While it’s great fun to watch the Incredibles/Parrs zipping around saving the world (with help from their preternaturally cool pal Lucius/Frozone, voiced with gusto by Samuel L. Jackson), Incredibles 2 gets its heart by being a sweet family story.
